[Romans 8:32]. Imagine.
Begin to even try to comprehend the love of the Father to give up His perfect Son, who He had/has a perfect relationship with, to buy us sinners.
We, who are sinners who have done literally nothing to deserve purchase. Certainly not at the price of His perfect Son, but done everything to deserve destruction.
But God’s love is so deep for us that He did not even spare His perfect Son, whom He love most. But not only did He give the perfect for the imperfect but He also now give us all things.
How do we even come close to deserving this grace?!
We didn’t even deserve to be rescued from the lake of fire…and He still did that!
And yet now He has free me from my addictions, purified my mind and thoughts, given me literal life and a free relationship with Himself through our King Jesus Christ.
Oh, and Heaven. [Shake my head in awe…].
Not only am I saved but I am then blessed?!
It for this reason that it kills me when I and others doubt God’s goodness…
How can we do that after reading Romans 8:32? I do not know, but I digress…

The [free] gift. [Romans 6:23]. Not only does God give us a gift we do not deserve, but it is 100% completely free. Which means that it literally costs you nothing. Why is that life-shattering news?
Because simply put, you do not deserve to have the charges brought against You dropped. They are justly placed on your back because it is your sin, your evil and your choices that rejected God’s good law and instead chose defamation of your intended state.
But Jesus the Messiah, the Christ…King of all kings…Ruler of the entire Universe…died in your place. Yes, yours. It should have been me. It should have been you. It should have been every sinner on a cross, enduring the wrath from God that our sin justly inflicted upon us.
That is the essence of grace. Me, you, the entire world have the chance every morning God wakes us up to repent. Do we deserve a chance to repent? No, it was us who knew God [Romans 2:15] and deliberately chose to reject Him.
Yet Jesus Christ, sitting on the throne of the Universe gives you a chance to repent. It is free to repent. It literally costs you nothing. Allowing you to die and no longer serve the sinful lifestyle that rightly would have placed you in the lake of fire for eternity in entirety. Therefore it costs you nothing and gives you everything.
Not only do you not deserve the kingdom of Heaven, after rejecting the King of Heaven, but God gives all believers in Christ a FREE inheritance in His kingdom. It costs us nothing and gives us everything.
How blessed are we to have this grace?!?!?!?!?! Think about it today.

You cannot put the sin in your life to death by your own strength. Only the God of the Universe, who lives within you, can destroy your sin and replace it with life you do not deserve. [Romans 8:13].
